Preaching made easy

Today I preached on "It's time to get real and give it to Jesus." I came out of Luke 7:35-40 talking about Mary and her alabaster box.

What's in your alabaster's box? I can tell you what was in mine and it was low self esteem, insecurity, loneliness, and lust. But when I made up my mind that I wanted to be delivered I brought my box and I laid it at his feet. And like Mary I didn't know how to approach Jesus so I came from behind and just began to cry with my box wide open. And as I wiped his feet he then turned around to me and said by your Faith my daughter you are healed. And just like that one touch he made me whole and he then told me to run on. I couldn't stop running, and those men I use to sleep with tried to stop and get me to go back but as I stopped to tell them about a man named Jesus and how he just made me whole they looked at me as though I had lost my mind. They thought I would never be set free, they thought I would forever be in enslaved to them but Jesus said by my Faith I was made whole. I was no longer in need of their services but the services I know require is those of Jesus. Let the church say Amen!
